Non-dairy Sour Cream
Ingredients: Makes about 16 oz
1 cup raw cashews
14-ounce package of silken tofu
1/2 cup plain, unsweetened plant-based milk
3 tbsp fresh lemon juice or lime juice
½ tsp sea salt
3 tbsp nutritional yeast (to make an alfredo sauce, use 1/2 c or more to taste, instead)
1 tsp onion powder
1 tsp garlic powder
Directions:
Blend all the ingredients until they are entirely smooth (If you do not have a high-speed blender, soak your cashews overnight).
Store in an airtight container and enjoy all week, topping your tacos, nachos, and any other dish with this delicious sour cream!
